You walked in the park with a spring in your step, letting your Pokémon roam outside of their Poké Balls. The breeze was light and refreshing, much better than being cooped up indoors all day.
Your favorite Pokémon bounded over to you, inviting you to play. "Hey, buddy! Who's a good [boy/girl/uh genderless?]!" You asked, petting them affectionately. Before it could respond, a figure ran up to you, casting a shadow over you.
"[Name], [Name]!" Silver panted, as if he ran a marathon before talking to you. "I'm training right now. Battle me."
"Uh... Right here? Now?" You asked, not wanting to destroy the peaceful park you stood in. If you could recall correctly, a sign at the entrance to the park said 'No Pokémon Battles Allowed.'
"Well, if you want to go somewhere private..." He offered. You made a confused and slightly grossed-out face, making him blush heavily. "A-ah, I mean, go somewhere else." He corrected hastily. "To battle."
You relaxed a bit, but Silver didn't. Not wanting to make your rival-friend-crush? more embarrassed, you decided to let it slide. You pulled what you hoped to be a casual smile, saying, "yeah, sure!"
Recalling your team, you and Silver walked away from the park to a large clearing in the forest. The vaguely rectangular arena-like area had obviously been the stage for a Pokémon battle before. Standing on opposite sides of the battlefield, you flashed Silver a cheeky grin.
"Ready to lose?" You asked mockingly, but still playful at the same time. It was hard to see his expression at the distance, but you thought he smiled just a tiny bit.
"Well, I have been trying a few new things. All that is left is to test them out." He said, taking out a Poké Ball.
---
"Yaaaay~ I win again~!" You cheered after a long battle. Silver came over, passing you a few Potions.
"I swear, you're unbeatable." He said, healing his own Pokémon. "But I did get some experience..."
"Me too!" You agreed. Although you won, it was a very close match. Whenever you got the upper hand, Silver would be right there, ready to command his Pokémon and predict your next moves. However, luck sided with you, and you were able to get a win.
Suddenly, you two weren't alone anymore. Covering Silver's eyes, Gold started to say, "Yo, Silv-"
On pure instinct, Silver whirled around and punched Gold in the chest. It was at half-strength, but it was probably going to leave a bruise. You fought back a laugh as he rubbed the area he was punched at. "Ow... Dude, not cool!" The amber-eyed boy groaned.
"Sorry. It's merely habitual." Silver apologized quietly, but he wasn't really apologetic. "Don't sneak up on me like that."
"Yeah, just like at your birthday party..." Gold muttered under his breath. "Anyway, what happened to you? Complimenting Little Miss [Name] after losing a battle?"
"Huh?" Both you and Silver asked at the same time.
"Oh, I see~ Silvy, I think you got a soft spot for her!" Gold exclaimed, a mischievous look on his face. Whenever he had that look, one could expect trouble. "Silver loves [Name]~!" He sang.
It seemed a lot warmer, despite the cool evening.
"Wha- No!" The redhead denied, a pinkish hue overtaking his face.
"Uh..." You trailed off, looking at the ground.
"C'mon! It's so obvious!" Gold teased, obviously enjoying the redhead's mortified expressions.
"Tell the whole world, why don't you?" Silver growled angrily, but it had the force of a Lillipup yapping. It was hard to take him seriously at this point, something both he and Gold knew, much to Silver's chagrin.
"Good idea!" The raven-haired male said, pulling out his Pokégear and running away. Silver was about to run after him until you placed a hand on his arm.
"Let him do whatever. He just wants a reaction from you." You said. "Are you going to give him the satisfaction?
"He's already satisfied." Silver snorted, but didn't chase after the amber-eyed boy. You recalled your Pokémon, as they deserved a rest, and decided you would have one as well. You lowered yourself to the ground and leaned back against a tree.
Silver settled down by you, looking into the distance. Daylight had started to give way to evening, and the sun was beginning to set. "The sun is really pretty." He murmured.
"Don't look at the sun; you'll burn your eyes out." You smirked, being the smarty-pants you were. The redhead rolled his silver eyes in annoyance.
"You're not my mom. And you know what I meant." He snapped half-heartedly, before going back to gazing at the sunset. Gold, pink, and orange blended perfectly to create a magnificent scene.
"If only I could take a picture of it with a camera... Too bad the quality would be crappy." You sighed, wistful. Silver nodded slowly in agreement.
"Well, there are other beautiful things to take a picture of..." He remarked, not facing you. The sun casted warm beams of light as it set, making everything in a hazy orange glow. But it shouldn't have made you feel hot.
Flattery is a wonderful thing.
"Ahaha, I guess there is." You giggled nervously. Silver turned, and his normally sharp and cold features were softened.
"[Name]..." He whispered, so quietly you could barely hear him, even as you leaned in. "What I meant by that... I meant you. No camera could catch your brilliance."
"That's because I didn't throw it." You replied, placing your lips on his. The passionate warmth oozed like thick lava, cooling and molding perfectly, just how your bodies fit together.

Broken Friendship | Silver x Reader
“I just want to help you!” you screamed at the amber-haired boy who was walking away from you.
“I don’t need your help,” he replied angrily, never stopping.
He was getting further and further away and you knew you wanted to help him, you just didn’t know how. The last thing you wanted was to see him walk away from you again but that’s what it seemed like. You were going to lose him again.
You couldn’t help but let a single tear slip down your cheek. The sadness you felt over losing your best friend didn’t compare to the sadness you felt for how lost he became. The days o

I. His Eyes
You first saw him while sitting on your favourite, slightly peeled, green bench by the campus lake.
Dressed in a simple, all-black outfit and with an equally shaded notebook in hand, he sat across the small body of water, occasionally glancing around and scribbling in his book with a pencil. He gave off an air of confidence, but also of intimidation. People seemed to walk slightly further from him by instinct, as did animals.

“Why do you always beat me?” The redhead murmured under his breath, crimson eyes wide in disbelief as he hesitantly removed his pokéball from his pocket, reluctantly returning the now-fallen Pokémon.
Earlier that day, Silver had challenged (Name) to another battle. The two had battled more than many times, and the result was always the same. (Name) would win flawlessly.
However, the boy would never usually react this way. Actually, he would merely shrug it off, still claiming to be the better trainer, and then he would casually stroll off as if he was never defeated in the first place. Things were obviously diffe
